Another Feather Crown

So, I have been having fun with this new little Image by Krista at Saturated Canary. I have die cut some more feathers and added some pretty rhinestones to her band. She has been a real versatile image. Now to put her on a card. Hope you are all having a great week. I am ready to kick back on Saturday and unwind from this crazy work week.
Thanks for stopping by.

Feather Crown by Saturated Canary

So as you can see I am "still" a huge Saturated Canary Fan. I can never get enough of Krista's Images. Here I have one of Krista's newest images for being a follower of hers. She is called "Feather Crown". I colored her using Copics then made a small slit in her headband. I die cut some feathers with pretty paper and tucked them under the band. Glued on the back. That is all. Simple but adorable.
Thanks for checking her out. If you are wanting to purchase her go to saturated-canary.myshopify.com
Have a great weekend!

I'm back!!!

Hello all, It has been almost 1 year to the day since I have posted on my blog. I took quite a long break, but I think I am back now. My goal is to try and post at least once a week now. With the Holidays approaching, I enjoy making cards and gifts, so maybe I will have something to inspire some of you. So with that, I am going to post an image that I colored from Saturated Canary. Its not a new one but one of my favorites. Well, that's it for now, I will be back with more soon. Hugs, Gabbi

Art Dolls

So here is Pray and Trust. My first attempt at making art dolls out of polymer clay. I used to love working with clay about ten years ago, but this is my first attempt at an art doll. it was alot of fun, just very time consuming and then frustrating because i kept breaking things off, like fingers and arms and one leg. so theres alot of glue holding these babies together now. I guess I will have to work on making the pieces thicker or paint them before i bake them. I dont know, but here they are. They are keeping me busy until sunday when my daughter makes it back from nicaragua. Still holding my breath. Ugh!!!!

Trust

Hello, Hoping everyone is doing well this week. It is our Spring Break here in Texas, so the kids are off for a week. I have one home and one in Nicaragua on a medical mission trip. I have been doing nothing but praying that God keeps her safe and sound and returns her to me on Sunday in one piece. It sure is stressful when your children travel without you, but I have been trying to keep busy with my art journaling. Here is another page I did today. Hope you like it. I am sure I will be back tomorrow with something new. Have a great Monday. Hugs Gabbi

Natasha Mays Cotton Candy Girls Class

Hello, So today I had Lesson One with Natasha May's Cotton Candy Girls. These were so much fun to make that I actually did two. I did one background the way she taught the class and the other one I did my own way. I love them both. I am so excited to take the next class. Its a five week session and I posted the link on the right if anyone was interested. Thanks so much for taking a look. Have an awesome weekend. Hugs Gabbi
